Community Pig Adoption Program: A Community-Based Initiative

Introduction

Niugini Swine Farming Corporation is proud to introduce its Community Pig Adoption Program, a unique and sustainable initiative that allows individuals to participate in modern livestock farming while supporting agricultural development and local communities.

This program provides both financial opportunities and long-term sustainability through a structured pig farming model.

Programme Overview

The Community Pig Adoption Program enables individuals to adopt and support pig farming through a flexible installment-based Adoption plan. By joining, adopters become part of a professionally managed system focused on efficient production, proper animal care, and shared benefits.

Adoption Plan

Current Adoption Program (Flexible Structure)

At Niugini Swine Farming Corporation (NSFC), we continuously improve our programs based on real farm operations and community feedback.

  • New adopters wanted a lower starting commitment
  • Existing members wanted flexibility to adopt more pigs

To address this, we introduced a flexible adoption structure that makes participation easier, more sustainable, and aligned with real farming conditions.

Adoption Details

  • Total Adoption Fee: USD 75

Flexible Installment Plan:

  • Month 0: USD 35 - Piglet adoption & allocation
  • Month 3: USD 20 - Feeding, care, and farm management
  • Month 6: USD 20 - Continued feeding, healthcare, and safety

This structure allows adopters to start smaller, manage cash flow better, and scale their participation over time.

Program Timeline (Aligned with Pig Growth Cycle)

  • Month 0-2: Weaner Stage
  • Month 3-4: Grower Stage
  • Month 5-7: Finisher Stage
  • Month 8: Farrowing (Piglet Production Phase)

This extended and structured timeline ensures:

  • Healthier pigs
  • Better farm management
  • More consistent and reliable benefits

Benefits to Adopters

After completing the final installment (Month 6), adopters will receive:

  • 4 Piglets within 2 months
  • Estimated Market Value per Piglet: USD 50
  • Total Potential Value: USD 200

Why We Made This Change

This updated structure was introduced to:

  • Improve accessibility for first-time adopters
  • Provide flexibility for growing participation
  • Align with real farm operations and animal welfare standards
  • Ensure long-term sustainability and scalability of the program

Previous Adoption Program (4-Month Structure)

For transparency and reference, below is our earlier adoption model:

Structure:

  • Fixed 4-month program duration
  • Single commitment structure with less flexibility
  • Total Adoption Fee: USD 75
  • Estimated Market Value per Piglet: USD 50
  • Total Potential Value: USD 200

Why It Was Updated

While the 4-month model allowed quicker turnover, we identified limitations:

  • Reduced flexibility for adopters
  • Limited scalability for both farm operations and community members
  • Less opportunity for new adopters as initial commitment is higher

Transition Note

Members previously informed about the 4-month program are welcome to join the new flexible adoption plan.

Key Benefits of the Program

  • Attractive Returns - Opportunity to achieve strong value from a structured farming cycle.
  • Flexible Payment Option - Installment-based models make participation affordable and accessible.
  • Animal Care & Safety Assured - All feeding, healthcare, and farm operations are managed by professionals.
  • Sustainable Farming Model - A portion of farm production is reinvested to expand and strengthen operations.
  • Community Empowerment - Supports employment and economic growth within local communities.
  • Zero Management Hassle - Adopters benefit without handling farm operations.

Financial Growth Vision

Through this program, Niugini Swine Farming Corporation aims to:

  • Expand pig production capacity
  • Develop modern farming and processing facilities
  • Strengthen regional and international market presence
  • Build a scalable and sustainable livestock ecosystem

Terms & Conditions

  • The USD 75 adoption fee is non-refundable.
  • Installments are allocated for pig adoption, feeding, healthcare, and farm operations.
  • Returns are provided based on the farm’s production cycle and management system.
  • Piglet allocation is managed through the overall farm production, including breeding operations.
  • The company ensures proper care, feeding, and safety of all animals.
